Mrs. Nora Rowena Pinkerton, 74, of Collinsville, died Monday night after a six-year illness. A native of Missouri, she moved to the Timber Hill, Okla., area in 1905. She lived at Locust Grove before coming here in 1956. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, William Drew of Wichita; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Larson of Galva, Kan. and Mrs. Clyde Surber of Lafontaine, Kan.; three brothers, including Robert J. DeLung of Collinsville; and two grandchildren. (Collinsville News, May 31, 1962)
