Carl Price Taylor was the 9th and last child born to Arthur and Mary Ann Price Taylor. He was born in Paris, Bear Lake County, Idaho on Nov. 24, 1913. He always went by the name of "Price" as his given name, even though it was actually his middle name.
After his years of schooling, Price got a job as train engineer on the Pacific Railroad that went through nearby Montpelier, Idaho. He worked that job all his life.
On Nov. 30, 1932 Price married Eliza Barta Geddes in the Logan Temple. His wife also went by her middle name, Barta. They moved into the Arthur Taylor home with Price's father and cared for him.
Price and Barta had five children:
Lois Marie (Sept. 8, 1934) married Clyde Odell Rigby Sept. 4, 1953.
Barbara (Sept. 17, 1939) married Wilbur Figgins June 1973.
