OBITUARY: Funeral services will be held at a 1:30 mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1997 in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church for Lovic J. Alleman, 78, who died at his residence in Duson.
Interment will be in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery.
Survivors include: his wife, Marie Trovet Alleman of Duson; one daughter, Barbara Gilbert of Scott; two sons, Burley Alleman of Tulsa, Okla. and Gerald Alleman of Duson; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gertie Alleman of Lafayette and Margaret Green of Carencro; and four brothers, Cemar Alleman of Lafayette, Bernard Alleman of Higginbotham, Dalton Alleman of Duson and Ernest Alleman of Carencro.
He is preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Ganbel, Wilfred and Willis Alleman.
A native of Scott and a former resident of Lafayette for 45 years. Mr. Alleman had been a resident of Duson for three years. He was the son of the late Gansule Alleman of Abbeville; and the former Bernadette Trahan of Scott.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Alleman was employed by Magnolia Liquor Co. He was a member of the Sts. Peter and Paul Community of Scott.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martin & Castille Funeral Home of Scott.
