Abraham Frantz, one of the oldest citizens of Lauramie Township, passed away Saturday evening at 5 o’clock at his home, two miles northeast of Stockwell. His death was caused by heart trouble and was quite sudden. He had not been feeling well for several years, but was able to be up and was in his usual health until a few minutes before his death. Had he lived until September 30 he would have been 79 years old. He was born in Pennsylvania and came to this county in 1878. His time was spent in farming and he was a very successful man. He leaves the following children: George Frantz, of this county; Mrs. Hiram Helfrick, of Cando, N.D., and Mrs. William Campbell, of Woodward, Okla. Mr. Frantz was a man of the highest integrity and enjoyed the confidence and esteem of all who knew him. The funeral will be conducted from the Salem church this morning at 10 o’clock. Rev. J. H. Kevan, of Stockwell, will officiate and the interment will be made in the Salem cemetery.
