Mrs. Chambers was a native of Dooly County and a member of the Hawkinsville First Baptist Church. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husbands, Elkin Tippett Faircloth and William Maxwell Chambers. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Elkin Rogers Faircloth and Ray Burel Faircloth.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Angel Faircloth Shiver (Wes), Holly Faircloth Collins (Rustin); beloved step-son, William Maxwell, Jr. (Ida Margaret); brothers, Cecil Alvin Rogers (Shirley), Amos Burel Rogers (Ethel H.) and one sister, Amelia Rogers Davis. Mrs. Chambers is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
