The Port Arthur News Tuesday, Feb 16, 1937 Beaumont, Feb 16, - Noah E Gallier, 48 resident of the settlement in Orange county for 29 years, died at 2:15 pm Monday after suffering a heart attack while driving his car on the Old Spanish Trail near Vidor, He died enroute to a local hospital in a Roberts ambulance.
Surviving are his wife Mrs Ada Gallier; a son Monroe Gallier and 3 daughters, Mrs Mildred Means of Batson, Mrs Bernice Bobo, and Mrs Geneva Gallier of Williamson settlement.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p m today in the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints "Mormon church" with the Rev. Elder Hanson officiating. Burial was scheduled for the Williamson cemetery under the direction of Roberts Undertaking company.
Pallbearers were to be B. V. Stephenson, Frank Williamson, Robert Mitchelle, Cooper Wright, and Weldon Wallace.
