Occupation, Sea Captain.
His last residence was in Nantasket, Merrimack County, New Hampshire. He passed away at New London Hospital, New London, NH.
His second wife's name was Nellie (Beck) Olson.
Note: His sister Ida Dorcas Olson married his wife's brother, James Gordon Hyde, Jr.
As per information shared by Forest Hills Cemetery, Charles died 13 January 1944 at age 75 years 9 months 5 days, and was cremated at Forest Hills on 17 January 1944. The authorization was signed by his brother Sheldon Olson, and the funeral home which handled the arrangements was J.S. Waterman and Sons.
Unfortunately, after Sheldon's passing, the storage payments stopped, and after many years his cremains were placed in a permanent mass burial vault. So they are on Forest Hills property, but cannot be separated or retrieved for memorial; FindAGrave will have to suffice to honor his memory.
I can only imagine there must have been some miscommunication after his daughter Luciel moved to California.
May he rest in peace.
