[Edmore-Gerald (Jerry) H. McClellan, 86, Edmore, passed away Friday, Nov. 21, 1997, at Kelsey Memorial Hospital, in Lakeview.
He was born Nov. 17, 1911, in Custer, to Harry and Sadie McKee McClellan. He was preceded in death by a sister, Grace; brothers, Everett, Lloyd, Lyle; and a granddaughter, Rebecca.
He was the owner and operator of McClellan's Auto Sales in Cedar Lake from 1958 to 1976.
Mr. McClellan is survived by his wife June Jacobs, whom he married June 27, 1941, in Grand Haven. Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Ruby McClellan of Hart and Harry and Kathy McClellan of Vestaburg; one daughter, Beverly Bajena of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Ivan McClellan of Scottville; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Vera and Elmer Dust of Bear Lake, Joyce and Emmanuel Fisbel of Muskegon, Betty and Lois Ritter of Ludington, Rosetta and Bud Christmas of Scottville; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Ann of Ludington, Naomi of LeRoy, and Vivian of Scottville.
Funeral services for Mr. McClellan will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Edmore Seventh Day Adventist Church. Interment will be in Richland Township Cemetery, Vestaburg.
