Mrs. Funk died Thursday, June 3, 1999, at Illini Hospital, Silvis.
She was born April 16, 1922, in Milan, the daughter of Lloyd and Elizabeth Genslinger Seefeldt. She married Frank Newberry. She married Raymond Williams. She married Clifford Funk. He died in 1993.
She owned and operated her own restaurant and was a waitress at various restaurants. She enjoyed crocheting, painting, quilting and collecting dolls.
Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie and Dwayne Schwarz, East Moline, Pam and Ron Wamsher, Black Canyon, Ariz., and Mary Roberts, of Tennessee; sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Maria Newberry, Las Vegas, Gary Newberry, Colona, and Mike and Donna Williams, Springtown, Texas; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Clara Jones, Summerville, Mo., and Elizabeth Erdmann, Rock Island; brothers, Lloyd Seefeldt, Fort Worth, Texas, and Neil and Robert Seefeldt, Huntsville, Mo.; and a sister-in-law, Florence Newberry, Rock Island. She was preceded by a daughter, Catherine "Punky" Newberry, and a son, Frances Newberry.
