Memorial Service: 10 a. m. today at New Hope Baptist Church, in Parker County. His body to be cremated.
Clifford Evan Funk was born May 7, 1912 in Lovilia, Iowa. He had lived in Springtown for the last five years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He worked for John Deere Harvestor in East Moline, Ill.
Survivors: Wife, Kay Funk of Springtown; sons, Gary Funk of Rockford, Ill., Boyd Funk of Moline, Ill., and Bill William Clyde of Milan, Ill.; and daughter Barbara St, John of Rockford, Ill.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and father and mother.
