Edna Perkins, 84, of Greenwich, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011 after a short illness. She was born October 3, 1926 in Floyd, Kentucky to Sam and Laura (Shepherd). Edna moved to the Greenwich area in the mid 1960's.

She was a member of the Greenwich First Baptist Church.

Edna is survived by her children, Terry Perkins of Warsaw, Ruth Perkins of Greenwich, Carl Perkins of Milan, Steve Perkins of Willard, Pat Sexton, John Perkins and Mary Poll all of Greenwich; 14 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren and siblings, Shirley and Lonie R. both of Willard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon J. Perkins; daughters, Ethel Duff and Shirley Perkins and stepson, Jerry Perkins.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 22nd from 6-9 p.m. at the Greenwich First Baptist Church, 96 Townsend Street, Greenwich where services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Gary Adkins officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
