Harry C. Farrow, a well known resident of Newark, died at his home 128 Elmwood avenue, Sunday afternoon at 12:50 o'clock, after a lingering illness of cancer of the stomach, although he had been confined to his bed only six weeks. The deceased was aged 66 years. He came from Martinsburg, W. Va., about 28 years ago with his family and had lived here ever since, where he followed the occupation of locomotive engineer on the B. & O. railroad. He had been in the service of the company for a period of 44 years, and many years ago fired for Wm. Dayton on the eastern division. The deceased is survived by his children, four sons and four daughters. They are Joseph, Harry, James and John, and Mrs. James Sheridan, Mrs. Wm. Deedham, Mrs. George Fox and Mrs. John Soder, who resides in Columbus. The deceased was and old soldier and served a term of enlistment in a West Virginia regiment. The funeral service will be held at the home in Elmwood avenue Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock., conducted by the Rev. L.C. Sparks. Interment in Cedar Hill Cemetery
