THE DEATH OF JAMES DOUGHERTY
James Dougherty, residing five miles southeast of the city, who was so desperately wounded on Friday morning by the accidental discharge of his gun while hunting, died Saturday morning at 12:15 o’clock. The funeral was conducted yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock and was largely attended. The remains were interred in Spring Grove cemetery. The unfortunate young man was highly esteemed and his tragic death is greatly deplored by the people of the community in which he lived.
