RITES ARRANGED FOR MRS. DUNCAN
Funeral to Be in Augusta, With Committal Services Here at 5:30 p.m. Sunday
The Body of Mrs. George W. Duncan, who died in Augusta yesterday, will be buried here tomorrow. Mrs. Duncan, member of one of Macon's most prominent families, died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Rodney Cohen. The funeral will be held in Augusta at 1 o'clock tomorrow afternoon. Committal services will be held at the W. B. Johnson{sic} lot in Rose Hill Cemetery at 5:30 o'clock, with Rev. J. A. Schaad in charge. Pallbearers for the services here will be Rodney Cohen, George Felton, William Burt, George D. W. Burt, Campbell Dasher and Benjamin Dasher. Mrs. Duncan had been a member of Christ Church practically all her life. Mrs. Duncan was 74 years old. Until she went to make her home with her daughter, three years ago, she had spent her life here. She attended Wesleyan College and was prominently identified with the church and social circles of this city. Her parents, W. B. Johnson{sic} and Mrs. Annie T. Johnson{sic} were the original owners of the old Johnson{sic} home on Georgia avenue, now owned by P. L. Hay. Besides the daughter in Augusta, Mrs. Duncan is survived by two sons, Dr. John B. Duncan of Atlanta, and George W. Duncan of Augusta, two grandsons, Rodney Cohen, Jr. of Augusta and George W. Duncan, III, of Augusta, Me.; a nephew, William H. Felton, of this city; two nieces, Mrs. B. F. Barden and Miss Rossiter Collins; two cousins, Mrs. W. G. Burt and Campbell T. King, all of Macon.
