OBITUARY: Miller Rites Arranged
Funeral services for Mrs. John Miller who died at her home on East Park Drive, Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock, will be held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be at Mount Hope.
Mrs. Miller was born September 27, 1845, in Cass County, Michigan, to William and Sarah Ferrel. Her marriage was to John Miller in Lagrange, Michigan, February 17, 1876. To this union was born six children.
Surviving are the husband and four children, James W. Miller of Girard, Illinois, Mrs. Fred Shroyer, of Girard, Illinois, Miss Ethel Miller, of this city and Earl J. Miller of Andrews. The family moved to this city in 1906. Mrs. Miller was a member of the M.E. church.
Death was due to a paralytic stroke suffered some time ago. She had been ill for eight weeks.
