Julia A. (Urban) Deeley, 81, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly July 15, 2011. She was employed for the past 35 years as a bookkeeper at F.H. Peterson Machine Corp. in Stoughton until her sudden passing on Friday. Julias family was her pride and joy. She loved family summers on Cape Cod and winters in Florida. Julia had many hobbies during her long life. Gardening, shopping, quahoging, playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets and her Lithuanian heritage were among her favorite past times She was also an avid New England sports fan who especially enjoyed watching the Patriots play. She was a daughter of the late Beni and Stefania Urban, beloved mother of John Deeley Jr. and his wife Terry of Maryland, Joyce Lewis and her husband Brian of Brockton and Jill Kaminsky and her husband Allen of Lakeville, loving grandmother of Benjamin Deeley and his wife Shoni and Jonathan Deeley of Maryland and Sabrina Deeley of South Carolina; sister of Stanley Urban and his late wife Stefanie of West Bridgewater; aunt of Lisa Urban, Martin Urban and his wife Janice and Andrew Urban and his wife Lauren; ggreat auntof Spencer and Genevieve Urban. All are welcome to calling hours Thursday 4 - 8 p.m. in Waitt Funeral Home, 850 North Main St. Brockton, funeral from Waitt Funeral Home Friday at 9 a.m., funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Michael Church, Avon and burial at Melrose Cemetery.
