Mrs Walter Koproski, Mother Of Local Man, Succumbs In Derby

ANSONIA - Mrs. Lydia Koproski, widow of Walter Koproski, 17 Lakeview Ave., Seymour, died yesterday morning at Griffin Hospital after a long illness.

She was born in Poland, and was a former resident of Scranton, Pa., before moving to Seymour, where she resided for 25 years. she was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Ansonia.

She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Chester Dudek, Seymour; Mrs. Edward Gregorczak, of Scranton; Mrs. Ronald Sevigny, and Mrs. Joseph Laskowski, of Beacon Falls; three sons, Alexander of Naugatuck, Theodore of Seymour, and Casimir of Shelton; one sister, Mrs. Rose Rudnicki of Poland; 25 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. from the Edward J. Bedner Funeral Home, 87 South Cliff Road, Ansonia, to St. Joseph's Church for a high Mass at 9:30. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Derby. Friends may call at the funeral home tomorrow from 2.to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
