Duenes Funeral Held Yesterday At Local Church.
Funeral services were held at the Catholic church at 10 o'clock yesterday morning for Pvt. Marciano (Jimmy) Duenes, 32, who died in an army hospital in Hot Springs, Ark., Feb. 23.
Burial was in Calvary cemetery and a firing squad from the Douglas army air field participated in the graveside services. He was employed by Smith's Food Center and Coca Cola bottling Works before entering the armed forces. Published March 2, 1945 in the Douglas Dispatch, Douglas, Arizona
