Mrs. C. C. Neal has CSA pension applications on line in the GA Archives under Franklin and Fulton Counties. She says her husband, William Brook Neal, enlisted in Carnsville, Ga in 1863 and served with Co. B of the 1st GA State Troops. He surrendered with his unit in Milledgeville, Ga in May 1865 and died in Franklin County on 15 Jan 1891.
