Services for Clara L. Aldridge, 104 Lawrence, will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Warren-McElwain Mortuary with the Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Aldridge died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 1996, at the health center at Brandon Woods Retirement Community.
She was born Aug. 18, 1891, in the Lakeview community near Lawrence, the daughter of Carl and Katherine Wilbert Stehwien.
Mrs. Aldridge lived most of her life in Lawrence, where she was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Trinity Service Class. She was a homemaker.
She married Charles Philip Aldridge in February 18, 1940 in Lawrence, Douglas county, Kansas. He died December 14, 1970. They had no children.
Survivors included three nieces, Elaine Worthington and Helen Lines, both of Perry, and Wilma Hart, Topeka.
The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church. They may be sent in care of the mortuary.
