Randy leaned on the Lord and received strength and salvation. He was a rock of strength and so courageous during his 15 month battle with terminal cancer, never complaining and doing anything to remain with us.
Randy had a passion for seeing people enjoy his cooking. Very successful with his catering business and was known by many as "Uncle Randy." He competed in many BBQ contests with his brother Kenny and he felt blessed to have all his brother-in-laws as true brothers.
It's hard to pick one thing that Randy did well- he did everything and if he didn't know how he learned how to.
He had the heart of a lion, helping anyone who needed it. Randy overcame many obstacles in life. He was a straight shooter-not sugar coating anything. He always said why not just get straight to the point it's easier for everybody.
Randy was so proud of his children and the adults they had become. He was a dedicated husband, father, brother, son and friend.
Randy is survived by his wife, Dana, married 2 months short of 30 years; son, Zane and wife Christina; daughter, Ashley; and son, Levi. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, DeWayne Murcer; and brother, Bobby Murcer.
