OBITUARY - Shelby County Herald, March 31, 1915:
W.R. PERRIGO DEAD -- W.R. Perrigo, about 50 years old, died at his home at Perkins, Okla., Saturday, March 20th, of pneumonia. The remains, accompanied by his son, Otis Perrigo, arrived here Wednesday morning.
Funeral services were conducted at Pleasant Prairie at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon by Rev. C.E. Newton. Burial in the church cemetery.
The deceased was a son of Martin Perrigo, near Oak Dale, and formerly lived in this county. He left here about nine years ago at which time he located at Perkins.
