Mrs. Anna Cadwallader, 87, widow of John Cadwallader, merchant on State Street for more than forty years, died at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon in the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Earl S. Gwin, 421 Park Avenue, Louisville. Mrs. Cadwallader removed to Louisville 14 years ago to make her home with Mrs. Gwin. Surviving are a half-brother, Arthur Brewer, and a half-sister, Miss Belle Brewer, both of New Albany, and two grandchildren, John Rasmussen of New Albany, and Mrs. Harold Ashley of Louisville. - New Albany Tribune 11 Apr 1934
