Eunice Granada was the first of eleven children born to James Knox Polk Hester and Mary Moultry Crosthwaite. Born in Alabama, she married John Henry Miller on the Ninth of November, 1890 at Dixie in the Chickasaw Nation of Indian Territory. On Jan. 19, 1911, at the age of 39 she passed away after contracting TB . She was preceded in death by three sons and leaves behind 4 sons and 4 daughters; also, her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

The funeral service was preached by John I. Herrindren. She rests in Ten Mile Cemetery, Saline County, Arkansas and is missed by many.
