Benton Courier, Benton Co., AR; Apr 1919.

Mrs. Sam Spencer:
On April 15, 1919, the death angel visited the home of Sam Spencer and took from him his darling wife, aged 20.

All was done for her that loving hands could do, but God knew best and called her home.

She was a loving wife and kind mother. She leaves to mourn her loss a husband, one child, father, four brothers, three sisters, and a host of friends. She was loved by all who knew her.

The remains were laid to rest in the Ewell Cemetery (Geurin). Funeral services were conducted by Brother Taylor.
