Mrs. Herman Friedrich, 67, funeral was held Tuesday with burial in New Lutheran cemetery. She died Saturday. "Mrs. Friedrich, whose maiden name was Mary Louise Krei was born Oct. 8, 1878, in Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Krei." She was 9 years old when the family moved to Wayne. She was married on Feb. 15, 1899 to Mr. Friedrich. They resided in Dixon county for 8 years. In 1907 they moved to Hot Springs, South Dakota. In 1918 they moved to a farm near Norfolk and in then moved into the city in 1940. She was survived by her husband, 8 sons and daughters: Mrs. Martha Behrens at
Amherst, Colorado; Mrs. Clifford Loeb at Laurel, Clara Stuelke, Harry, Mrs. William Uttecht, Clarence, Edgar all at Norfolk; Mrs. Tom Hughes at Osmond; 3 brothers: John at Randolph, Fritz at Morris, Minnesota; Herman at Worland, Wyoming; 3 sisters: Mrs. Anna Wingett at Walthill, Mrs. Mary White in California, Mrs. Emma Friedrich in South Dakota; 2 half brothers: Theo at Laurel, Walter at Carroll; 1 half sister Mrs. Nellie Anderson in California.
