Born December 13, 1945 in Buchanan County, she was the daughter of the late Keither and Allie Charles Stacy. She was a homemaker and member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Brian and Timothy Stacy; two sisters, Zade Wampler and Annie Lester; two brothers, Hurshel and Linco Stacy; and one sister-in-law, Betty Stacy.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Stacy; two sons, Daniel Stacy and wife, Samantha, of Hurley and Ronald Stacy and Rosella, of Lebanon; two daughters, Rita Stacy and husband, Benny, of Hurley and Linda Hill and husband, Lester, of Coeburn; grandchildren, Ronald Stacy and Missy, Travis Stacy and Lucas Michael Stacy, all of Hurley, Miranda Mullins and husband, Michael and Emily Dequato and husband, Peter, all of Clintwood and Renita Stacy and Rob, of Isom, KY; great-grandchildren, Madison Jade Mullins, Morgan Shae Mullins, Brooke Adams and Colby Adams; two sisters, Victoria Stacy of Hurley and Wilma Palmer of Michigan; brothers, Ray Stacy and wife, Joann and Jimmy Stacy and wife, Shirley, all of Hurley and Otis Stacy of Grundy.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, July 11 at North Springs Old Regular Baptist Church at Wolford with Elders Danny Hurley, Gary Justus, James Stacy and Danny Justus officiating. Burial followed in the Charles Cemetery in Hurley.
Pallbearers were Leonard, Richard, Junior, Nathaniel, Shawn and Steven Stacy, Clinton and CJ Gibson, Eric Williams, Eddie Williams and Marty Slone.
Honorary pallbearers were employees of Special Care Hospice.
Virginia Funeral Home of Grundy was in charge of arrangements.
