Ailsie P. Lawson
Mrs. Ailsie P. Lawson, 90, Rt. 6, Church Hill, died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at Holston Valley Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.
Born in Hancock County, Tenn., she had lived at Rt. 1, Pressmen's Home until moving to Kingsport in 1942. She attended the Baptist Church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Madge Berry of Church Hil; one son, Ollie Lawson, Church Hill; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; four step-sons. Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home is in charge.

Funeral services for Mrs. Ailsie P. Lawson will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at maple Hill Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Weatherly and Rev Charlie Hurd officiating. Burial will be in the Dean Cemetery in Hawkins County. The body will remain at the funeral home where the family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
