Mrs Elizabeth Briscoe, wife I.N.Briscoe passed away at her home in the south part of town. Sunday night, at the age of seventy-five years. She was born in Tennessee on October 27, 1849 and for the past thirty yeas resided in the west, moving from Utah to Rupert about three yeas ago. Mrs. Briscoe was the mother of eleven children, seven whom are living. The deceased was stricken with appoplexy early in March and continued to grow worse until the end. Funeral services were held at the home Tuesday afternnon and interment was made in Rupert cemetery. Rev. Van Engelen of the Baptist church officiated.
