Jacob Esau Samara, 69, of 1319 N. Ellison, a native of Syria who came to the United State in 1910, died Thursday. Services will be 2 pm Monday at Springdale Alliance Church with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery under direction of Street & Draper Funeral Home.
Samara served in World War I and came to Oklahoma City shortly after the war. He was a member of American Legion Post 35.
Survivors are two sisters, Mrs Amelia Bayouth and Mrs Mary Swyden, and a brother, Faid Samara, all of the city.
