John F. Brandenburg, well known farmer of Harmony, died in Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown, Saturday night, aged 62 years. He was a son of the late Samuel C. and Clara Alexander Brandenburg of Harmony and was a member of the Middletown Lutheran church and Men's Bible Class.

Surviving are his wife Bertha Hartsock Brandenburg; three daughters, Mrs. Paul Routzahn, at home; Mrs. Albert W. Jones, near this city; Mrs. Glenn E. Routzahn, this city; three sisters Mrs. Clarence Waters, Middletown; Mrs. Dewey Burkholder, Hagerstown; Mrs. Emmert Adkins, Ijamsville; three brothers, Charles, Myersville; Russell, Hagerstown, and Leo, Frederick, and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at the funeral home in Middletown, where services will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Howard McCarney. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown. The Gladhill Co., funeral directors.
