Reba Aline Byrd of Huntsville, passed away December 13, 2006, at the Scott County Hospital in Oneida. Born in the Mill Creek community, August 19, she was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Eliza Young Foster; her husband, Elvin Byrd; great-grandson, Dennis Harold Clark, II; brothers, Raymond and Ray Foster; sisters: Ada Norris, Beatrice Vories, and Letha Northrup; step-mother, Anna Belle Foster; and special nephew, Hubert Norris. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, Robbins, and Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by one son, Elmer Byrd and wife, Mary Ann, of Dayton; two daughters: Darlene Sheets and husband, Paul, of Warners, NY, and Carol Clark and husband, Harold, of Indianapolis, Ind.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, four sisters: Hazel Bowling of Mt. View, Thelma Morgan, Delphi Potter and husband, David, and Carol Spence and husband, Lee, all of Robbins; two brothers: John Foster and wife, Wanda, and Paul Foster and wife, Mary, all of Robbins; several nieces and nephews, and many other relatives.

Funeral service was conducted December 16, in the chapel of Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville with Bro. Kenneth Norris and Bro. Jackie Norris officiating. Capt. Greg Sheets read the eulogy. Music was provided by Brenda West, Jean Kidd, and Karen Brown. Interment followed in Concord Memorial Cemetery. Four Oaks Funeral Home of Huntsville had charge of arrangements.
