Grace Beesley Coberly, 97, Quinter, died Monday, Sept. 7, 2009, at Gove County Medical Center Long Term Care, Quinter.
She was born Sept. 28, 1911, in rural Gove County to John and Nellie (Gorham) Beesley. She graduated from Gove High School and received a bachelor of science degree in education at Fort Hays State University.
She married Walter Dunlap. He preceded her in death in 1968. She later married Roscoe S. Coberly. He preceded her in death in 2000. She was a teacher.
Survivors include a step-son, Mark Coberly, Gove; two step daughters, Judith Ziegenbalg, Heber Springs, Ark., and Catherine Coberly, Amarillo, Texas; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Gove; burial in Gove Cemetery.
Memorial are suggested to Hospice Services or Gove County Long Term Care, in care of Schmitt Funeral Home, Quinter.
