Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at Christ Gospel Church for Chad James Guilbeau, 42, who passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Rayne Guest House.
Reverend Kenneth Daugherty, Pastor of Christ Gospel Church, will conduct the funeral services.
Interment will take place in Greenlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Guilbeau, a resident of Rayne, was the son of Carrol Guilbeau of Carencro and the former JoAnn Boudreaux of Sunset. He was a long standing member of Christ Gospel Church. He was currently employed by Delta World Tires for the past 10 years as well as a reserve officer with the Lafayette Sherriff's Department.
Survivors include his wife, Vanessa Arceneaux Guilbeau of Rayne;; one daughter, Arielle Guilbeau of Rayne; one son, Jeremiah Guilbeau of Rayne; his father and step-mother, Carrol and Barbara Guilbeau of Carencro; his mother, JoAnn Guilbeau of Youngsville; one sister, Donna Sweet of Tennessee; and one brother, Brian Guilbeau of Youngsville; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Sadie Arceneaux of Breaux Bridge.
Honorary pallbearers will be Carrol Guilbeau, Brian Guilbeau, Jeremiah Guilbeau, Donald Arceneaux and Steven Arceneaux.
Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana was in charge of the arrangements.
