Patty "Pat" Lou Drain, 55, of Sperry, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 6, 1996, at her home.
Born Jan. 30, 1941 in Des Moines County, she was the daughter of Russell and Vera Boline Stanturf. She married Robert William Drain on Nov. 21, 1964.
Ms. Drain had been a production worker at United States Gypsum Co., IRC and TRW for 18 years.
She was of the Protestant faith and an active bingo player.
Survivors include her mother, Vera Stanturf of Sperry; one daughter Melony Drain Bergquist of Sperry; two granddaughters, one sister, Bonnie Crowner of Burlington; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father.
