Michael Kahl, 48, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2005 in Galveston, Texas after a brief illness. He was born September 12, 1956 in Detroit, Michigan to John Henry and Hazel Marie Kahl.
He grew up in Detroit, was stationed in Ft. Sill and lived in Oklahoma City for many years before moving to Galveston 10 years ago. Michael married Regina Smith on January 28, 1995 in Boone County, Arkansas. He was a heating and air-conditioning contractor.
Survivors include his wife, Regina of the home; one daughter; Ryan Kahl Toy and husband, Richard, Ft. Worth TX; three sons; Michael Kahl and wife, Elizabeth, Oklahoma City; Tyler Johnson Kahl of the home; Adam, Bethel, Oklahoma; three grandchildren and one brother.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
