Altman, age 98, of Greensburg, daughter of the late Michael and Emily Hartfield Blankenship was born in Green Co., Ky. on 4 Mar 1883 and departed this life at 2:45 am Mon. 30 Nov 1981 at the Metzmeier Nursing Home, Campbellsville, Ky. after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney Altman on 13 May 1978. She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Zora Bell Calhoun, Charlestown, S.C., 5 grandchildren, Susan C. Rife, Charlestown, S.C., Jane Allen Calhoun, of S.C., Allen Altman, Jr., of Key Largo, Fl, Randy Altman, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Bobby Altman, of USAF Miss. And 1 great-grandchild. She was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church. Funeral services were held at 2 am Wed. 2 Dec 1871 at the Foster-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. … Loy officiating. Burial was in the Greensburg Cem. Pallbearers were: Robert Buchanan, Joe Guthrie, Ray Altman, Covy Lile, Elroy Altman, Dallas Blankenship.
