Death of Henry Birch
Mr. Henry Birch, for many years contractor under the old board of public works and at one time one of the foremost business men of the city, died yesterday afternoon at the home of his daughter in Brookland, D.C., in the seventy-seventh year of his age. He was a member of Hiram Lodge No. 10, F.A.A.M., under the direction of which lodge funeral services over his remains will be conducted at 3 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at Oak Hill Chapel. The interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
