Louis L Hughes, 73, of Knox City, died at 1 AM Friday in the Brazos Valley Care Home after a long illness. His body was willed to the Department of Anatomy at Texas Tech University School of Medicine. Born August 14, 1901 in Knox County, Mr. Hughes returned to Knox City in 1963 after living several years in Los Angeles California. He married Fannie Loper on February 3, 1969 in Knox City and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors are his wife; one sister-in-law Mrs. Daisy Hughes of O'Brien; one nephew and two great nephews.

Donated Body to Science; cremated and ashes were buried in the Medical School Plot in City of Lubbock Cemetery February 3, 1981.
