Funeral services for William B. Anders were held at the Palacios Funeral Home Monday, September 20 at 3 p. m. with Rev. Bobby Madison and Mr. Fred Conner officiating. Interment was in the Palacios Cemetery.
A resident of Palacios for 41 years, he was born March 18, 1890 in Milam County, Texas, a son of Mr. and Mrs. M. Anders. He died September 19 after an illness of several months.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. W. B. Anders of Palacios; three sons, Ray Anders of Amarillo, Milton Anders of Bay City and Alfred Anders of Freeport; three sisters, Mrs. J. E. Shows of Hondo, Mrs. Frances Vanderpool and Mrs. Mollie L. Keithly of Austin and two brothers, Mark M. Anders of Liberty and C. H. Anders of Seagoville, Texas.
