Harold Gottlieb Gronbach, the son of Herman Gottlieb and Dora (Rabe) Gronbach, was born on April 20, 1917 on a farm north of Livermore, Iowa. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Harold was united in marriage with Jeannette Clemons Grey on January 4, 1942 in Missouri. He was a contractor opertating H.G. Gronbach Construction. Harold was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and the Otto-Field American Legion Post #415 in Livermore. He enjoyed gardening, cooking, and watching sports.
Left to cherish Harold's memory are two daughters, Carole Sharp of Zimmerman, MN and Cindy Olson of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, Brad Sharp, Keith Sharp, Melanie Andersen, Troy Christensen, Danielle Olson and Tiffany Olson; twelve great grandchildren; and a sister, Freda Cran of Livermore. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jeannette; a daughter, Phyllis; two sisters, Mildred Brown and Helen Sinclair; and a brother, Kelly Gronbach.
