OBIT - GREENSBURG RECORD-HERALD.
Mr. Elmer "Kavo" Milby, son of the late Mr. John Settie Milby and Mrs. Lezatta Memory Milby Milby, was born January 3, 1903 in Green County and departed this life Tuesday, October 14, 1975 at his home in Greensburg. He was 72 years of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ.
He is survived by six sons and four daughters: Leo, Gene, Lewis and Hollis Milby, all of Greensburg; Henry and Rex Milby, both of Tennessee; Mrs. Ruth Ann Vittitow and Mrs. Suzanne Hibbard, both of Shepherdsville; Mrs. Laurene Judd and Mrs. Joyce Ann Vaughn, both of Greensburg. A daughter Diana Milby, preceded her father in death.
Mr. Milby is also survived by one brother: Marvin Milby of Greensburg; two sisters: Mrs. Ethel Milby McAllister and Mrs. Lillian Milby Dobson, both of Greensburg; 19 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted in the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home Thursday, October 16 at 2 p.m. by Rev. Gilbert Larimore. Burial was in the Wilson Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Rollin Gardner, L. E. "Chick" Pickett, Bob Taylor Blakeman, Alton Nunn, Truman Young and Quincy Dobson.
