Guy W. Lomascolo, Jr., 78, of Clinton, died at 4:54 a.m. Sunday, December 12, 1999, in St. John's Hospital, Springfield. Services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, with J. Kent Hickerson officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Clinton. Mr. Lomascolo was born in Wilkes Barre, Pa., on Jan. 15, 1921, the son of Guy and Carmella DeGiusto Lomascolo. He was a World War II Air Force veteran. He retired after 49 years as a meat cutter and was the former owner of Bill's Meat Market & Processing in Bloomington. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Bloomington Lodge 43 AF & AM, Bloomington Chapter 50 Order of the Eastern Star, and the VFW. He married Mary Evans Westbrook in Bloomington on Aug. 15, 1960. Surviving are his wife; one son, Guy (Connie) Lomascolo III of El Paso; Charles (Tonya) Lomascolo of Mackinaw; daughters, Pat Lomascolo of Bloomington; Judy Lindsey of Reno, Nev.; brothers, Leonard Lomascolo of Pennsylvania, Al Lomascolo of Pennsylvania; sisters, Edith Klinger of New Jersey, Josephine O'Leary of New Jersey; sister-in-law, Catherine Lomascolo of New Jersey; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
