She is laid to rest under a shady evergreen tree in the Cryer Cemetery next to her husband (Walter Theo Kelly) and her son W.T. Kelly.
She was preceded in death by her parents - Mary Elizabeth (Lizzie) Johnson and Azariah Columbus Strother Sr., as well as brothers Joe Vinnie Strother and Azariah Columbus Strother Jr and sister Nancy Ophelia Strother. Since her death, all of her siblings as well as her children have passed away.
