She was a graduate of St. Margaret's School in Tappahannock, VA. and Harcum College in Bryn Mawr, PA. After many successful years in media sales, she retired as sales manager from Clear Channel Radio in 2002. Upon retirement, she became an active member of the Junior Board at PRMC, holding multiple positions ending with shop chairman. She was vice president of Holly Community Inc. and also served on the Board of Directors for Easter Seals.
She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Bob Freeman; a daughter Allyson Minor and her husband, Ryan, of Salisbury; a granddaughter Reagan Ashley Minor; a half-sister Skipper Slacum Shildt, of Charlotte, NC; a brother Norman "Donnie" Slacum, of Cambridge; and a sister-in-law Debra Freeman, of Silver Spring, MD.
Mrs. Freeman was preceded in death by both parents and a daughter, Ashley Carter Phillips.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Holloway Funeral Home P.A. Friends may also call Tuesday evening from 6 – 8 and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
