Violate Peterson Lamb, age 84, returned to her Heavenly home on August 19, 1990.

Born October 30, 1905 in Moroni, Utah to Harry Jacob and Mary Anderson Peterson. Married John Frank Lamb on May 26, 1926 in the Manti LDS Temple.

Active member of the LDS Church, she served in many positions in the auxiliaries. She served in the Salt Lake Temple for many years. Her enjoyment in life was cooking and being an excellent homemaker. She was a devoted and constant companion to her husband. Her love in life was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They will always remember and cherish her love and example.

Survived by husband, Frank; son, Kirt J. Lamb (JoAnn), West Valley City; daughter, Mary Jean Steed (Elmer), Magna; nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; brother, Dee A. Peterson (Nita), West Valley City; sisters, Fay Seeley (Don), Salt Lake City; Mrs. Goldie Olsen Norman, Ephraim. Preceded in death by parents, brother, LeGrande (Bud); sisters, Duluth Norman and Phyllis Syme.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 22, 1990 at 12:00 p.m. in the Magna Ward Chapel, 8739 West 3000 South. Friends may call at the ward house, 8739 West 3000 South, Magna, on Tuesday evening from 7:00-8:00 p.m. and also Wednesday at the church from 11:00-11:45 a.m.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
