Ellen Halvorsen (Walborg) was born in Norway on 14 August 1892. She arrived in the USA around 1914 and married Lars (Louis) Estby in March of 1915. They had 2 daughters. There is some discussion as to what her maiden name was; reason for both names stated here. Ellen was my Grandfather's (Louis) first wife and he always told me that she was the love of his life.
Ellen was diagnosed with stomach cancer around 1935 and passed away on 7 Jun 1936. So St Paul, MN.
I never knew my Grandmother but from all accounts by my Grandfather/Mother/Aunt she was a wonderful caring person. And she was truly missed!
