Lars (Louis)Aleksander Estby was born 5 June 1892 to Peter and Julie Estby in St Paul, MN. He married Ellen Walborg (Halvorsen) in March of 1915. They had 2 daughters. Even though he was called Louis he preferred to be called Lars. He worked for Swift & Co for almost 50 years. Ellen Estby who was the love of his life passed away at a very young age of 43 in 1936. He subsquently married twice being with Marvella when he passed. He loved baseball and especially the Minnesota Twins. Lars passed away on 8 Dec 1988 at the age of 96 in So St Paul, MN. He is fondly remembered by all who knew him.
