Earle Fayne Hooks was born in Corsicana, Texas. As a child he lived in Waco
and Downsville. Later living in Clarendon, Texas, Texarkana, Hot Springs Arkansas and Missoula, MT.
He received his Masonic degrees in Waco Lodge in 1920, and promptly applied
himself to his work. Waco Lodge held its Diamond Jubilee and 75th Anniversary during his administration as Master in 1927.
All during his career in Waco, Brother Hooks has taken an active part in all the
phases of Civic betterment, church and school board work. In 1950 he was honored by the Grand Lodge by being appointed D.D.G.M. for this District.
