Brigett Dawn Jones-Clemons, age 47, of Hi Hat, Ky., passed away Friday, July 8, 2011, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Ky.
Brigett was the wife of Terry Clemons, and the daughter of Nora Lou Jones and the late Dennis "Bob" Jones.
Brigett was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and daughter. She loved her family and friends and always cherished the fact that she was from the coalfields of Eastern Kentucky.
She is preceded in death by her son, Matthew Branham.
She is survived by her husband, Terry Clemons of Hi Hat, Ky.; mother, Nora Lou Mathews Jones of Hi Hat, Ky.; daughter, Candi Branham Gilley (James) of Dorton, Ky.; son, Cody Branham (Carissa) of Pikeville, Ky.; step-son, Kevin Clemons (Jamie) of Wayland, Ky.; brother, Brian Jones of Hi Hat, Ky.; special friend and sister-in-law, Audrey Jones of Martin, Ky.; grandchildren, Jared and Justin Gilley; niece, DeNora Jones; nephew, Presley Jones; and a host of family and friends. Brigett is also survived by her biological brothers and sisters, Jeanette, Kenneth, Susie, Darlene, Rita, Freddie, Suzanne, Elisha, and Virginia.
Funeral services for Brigett Dawn Jones-Clemons will be held Sunday, July 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, Ky. with Harold Clemons and Randall Short officiating. Entombment will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, Ky.
Visitation will be held Friday after 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
